Code Switching among English upbringing section Lecturers in Indonesia University of rearing Ihsan Nur Iman Faris (0902468), Jaka Setiawan (0907172), Lungguh Ariang Bangga (0902418), Rido Utama Prasetya (0907109) Indonesia University of Education ABSTRACT This study entitled, Code-Switching among English Education Department Lecturers in Indonesia University of Education, aims to go over the motives of code shift key among lecturers in English Education Department in Indonesia University of Education. The lecturers always work code displacementing in the process of teaching-learning natural process in their English classroom. This study involves quaternary English Education Department lecturers as the respondents. During one calendar month of ceremonial the time when the respondents aim code switching was observed. The respondents were interviewed approximately the reason why they use code-switching in their English classroom. The info or the reasons why the res pondents use code-switching when they are teaching are analyze by using the theory of Hoffman ( 1991 ) and Saville- Troike ( 1986) .The findings show that on that foreshadow are ii code switching reasons why the lecturers use code switching in teaching learning activity. Those 2 reasons are because of talking ab out particular way out and expressing chemical group identity.
