AbrahamAbraham, also cognise as Abram is most commonly known for being the Father of theJewish people. The majority of the tuition found on Abraham is located inthe Old Testaments Book of Genesis. Other than that, there ar no realhistorical records on the life of Abraham, so the memorial of his life was passedby word of mouth, and were there after made into biblical stories. There is alsothe question if Abraham really lived, do to the little information available onhis life. Abraham is most famous for making his Covenant with theology.     Abraham would confine lived somewhere between the years of 2000 and 1500BC. He was born in the city of Ur. Abrahams real name was Abram. The baffle ofAbram , Terach, had both other sons , Haran and Nachor. While surviving in the cityof Ur , Abram married his half-sister, Sarai who after took on the name ofSarah. The newlyweds later learned that Sarai was sterile. They then travelednorth to Charan, accompanied by Abra hams father Terach. While in Charan Terachdied. It was in Charan where God made his first of a series of revelations toAbram. God spoke to Abram, and told him that he would promise to bless him and play a great nation of him. Abram willingly decided to follow God to the city of promised record. Abram not only traveled with his married woman on this journey, tho he alsopicked up his nephew, Lot. He lived his life in paradise as a Nomad. shortageeventually struck the land of Canaan , forcing Abram and his family to move onto Egypt.     In Egypt, Abram was fearful that the Egyptians would kill him and takehis wife Sarai if they were to discover that the two were married. Abramattempted to cover this up by sexual intercourse everyone that he and Sarai were justbrother and sister. The Pharaoh demanded that Sarai be brought to his palace,and as result, God direct down plagues which devastated all of Egypt. In adesperate attempt to hand over his kingdom, Pharaoh decided it would be best to sendAbram and Sarai away.     Abram and his family returned to Canaan after the Famine had ended. BothLot and Abraham had great wealth in Canaan. The two twain owned livestock, andlarge quantities of silver and gold. Eventually Abram and Lot found that theland could no longer provide the resources that the two men required of it. Thetwo went their separate ways, Lot going to the Jordan Plain, and Abram staying
